NOVA SCOTIA - DAY 66 - AUG 7

After leaving the campground and a breakfast at the only place open just south of town, I found and got back on The Celtic Shores Coastal Trail. The shade and no hills and of course no vehicles were welcome as this global warming heat wave is starting to be old news.

The rail-trail was not entirely in the shade, but there were some nice views along the way. I thought the trail would take me all the way to Port Hastings, but I hadn't read the fine print on the google description. It petered out and became a nasty rock strewn goat path about 3 kilometers from town. I actually clambered across some private property to get back onto the highway.

I decided to spoil myself and stay at a very nice motel in Port Hawkesbury. The last picture is a residential area in town, taken for an old co-worker who helped build a refinery near town.
