Another day of backroads in Poland to the village of Drzewica. I was ready for a rest and I booked a room for two nights.
The first picture is what all segregated bike trails should look like. A little wishful thinking. Drzewica does have a castle, a little weary, but still a castle although not open to the public. More info;

I was a little surprised that my room had a balcony with a view of a nice flower bed and the church. There was some hoopla from the church involving singing and parading around town. I never found out what it was about.
The last picture of the fellow tourist sitting in the park is Cees from Amsterdam. He is heading for the Ukraine, I think. He is very knowledgeable and gave me some great tips on my travel itinerary. We will stay in touch.
