NOVA SCOTIA - DAY 45 - JULY 17

After my pleasant home stay near Chester, I continued along the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The scenery is nothing like the jaw dropping grandeur of most of Iceland, but a more genteel, more populated, less hilly, forested, and with ocean and bay views. The local climate remains hot and humid. The next very pretty village I come to is Mahone Bay with some very large churches and beautiful, old, and well kept homes. Continuing on to a must stop visit of Lunenburg. This town is a World Heritage UNESCO site. Please read about it here; Old Town Lunenburg

After this visit, I continued up to the town of Bridgewater for a 2 night motel stay to wait out the rain forecast for tomorrow.
