QUEBEC - DAY 94 - SEP 4

Today was bright and sunny all day. With the sun, sometimes winds are greater and they were today. A direct and constant headwind of I'm guessing between 10 and 15 miles per hour. This is right at my going crazy threshold. Luckily the ride was very flat, so I just dug in and stopped as often as I could to take a picture. You can see the flatness and low mph of 8 for the day if you look at my Garmin file.

Lots of neat little towns just off of the main road helped keep my interest in this mind numbing experience. The usual assortment of beautiful giant churches and views out along the St. Lawrence River were extra enticement. That one castle-like home even had a moat. There were several art galleries and exhibits. That one with the sculptures trickling down toward the water was a little unusual. One of the wealthiest towns, Metis-sur-Mer Beach had little signs in front of the houses, talking about the history of the owners, any additions, and fires, back over the last hundred years. No title search necessary.

I made it to Rimouski, a good sized town, and splurged on the very nice Rimouski Hotel.
