Today was a long one and pleasant enough if you were to discount the heat and humidity. I went from Truro to Antigonish, staying on Route 4 as much as possible, but sometimes having to take the 104, the Trans-Canada Highway, like our freeways only more kind and gentle, but still noisy with faster big and small vehicles.
When off the main highway, it was much more relaxing with very little traffic. The scenery was mostly woodsy with some nice homes scattered about. The nice old building was in New Glasgow, my lunch stop, about half way. Antigonish is the home of Saint Francis Xavier University, with a beautiful campus. They were having some sort of paralympic event there and it was very busy. I found an adequate motel room for the night.
